Q. Where do I register my team?
A. Registration will be conducted between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Sunday, 14th February (the day of the meet). One representative is to collect their team pack before 2.45pm on the day from the Registration Area, adjacent to the pool.

Q. What is in my Team Pack?
A. Your Team pack will include the Event Programme and 6 team swimming caps. The Corporate teams will receive food and drink vouchers to enjoy during the event.

Q. Where can I park?
A. Parking is available on Queenslea Drive and in designated parking areas within Christ Church Grammar School. Attached is a map showing the available parking areas for the event.

Q: How many Swimmers are required per team?
A: Each team will be required to have 6 team members swimming in a traditional 6 x 50 metre relay (each team member may swim only once).

Q: Who can swim for a Corporate Challenge Team?
A: All Corporate Challenge team members must be on the current 2009/2010 financial year payroll for the Company registered to participate in the Corporate Challenge.

Q: Where is the Team Sprint Challenge held?

Q: How do I register my interest as a volunteer?
A: Volunteers are vital to the successful staging of the iiNet Team Sprint Cup and help assist to raise funds for Autism West Support Inc. please register your interest by emailing your name, contact number and email address to admin@teamsprintcup.com. We will contact you to confirm positions.

Q: How do I register my interest as a sponsor?
A: Financial and product sponsorship support is crucial to enable the running of the iiNet Team Sprint Cup. Please register your interest by emailing your name, contact number and email address to admin@teamsprintcup.com. We will contact you to discuss the sponsorship opportunities. Please also refer to our Sponsor page for a Sponsorship Opportunities Presentation. All financial and product sponsors are greatly appreciated.

Q: What is Autism Spectrum Disorder?
A: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong developmental disability affecting around 1 in every 125 people.

There has been an alarming 10 fold increase in the rate of children diagnosed to be on the Autism Spectrum in the last 10 years. The majority of people with Autism will continue to need support throughout their lives.

Q. What are the requirements for participation in the Over 180 years and 270 years Race?
A. The combined age of the team members competing in the Over 180 years race or 270 years race must be equal to or greater than 180 years or 270 years respectively at the date of the race. If your team does not meet these requirements, please note there are also Open Womens and Open Mens events included in the program which we encourage you to enter.

Q. Is the event BYO food, drinks and alcohol?
A. The iiNet Team Sprint Cup is strictly no BYO food or beverages. On site catering has been arranged to ensure you will be able to purchase a selection of gourmet food, non alcoholic beverages and a choice of premium wines and boutique beers.

Q: What is Autism West Support Inc.?
A: Autism West Support Inc (Autism West) is a registered Charity (not-for-profit organisation) set up by Parents and Friends of children who are on the Autism Spectrum.

Autism West seeks to support parents with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and helps them cope with the challenges they and their children face everyday.

Autism West's aim is to raise funds to provide support by way of subsidizing direct services to the families who find it financially difficult to meet the costs associated with support services for their children required to cope with the life long condition of an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Some of the activities Autism West provides are:

  • Individualised occupational/speech therapy social groups;
  • Provision of ongoing education to Parents; and
  • Provision of support aids for children on the Autism Spectrum.

Autism West is also looking to establish dedicated facilities to assist with provision of services to children on the Autism Spectrum.
